This position will fulfill an Auto Damage Analyst role on the road within several counties in the Long Island and downstate New York area.

The Auto Damage Analyst will assist with the daily operation of the physical damage inspection process. They regularly measure inspection method performance including staff appraisers, independent appraisers, direct repair shops, and drive-in facility. They identify opportunities for improvement and work closely with management to ensure that goals and objectives are achieved. Duties & Responsibilities: Recommend and evaluate NYCM Advantage Repair Program shops Maintain NYCM Auto Appraiser and Advantage Repair Program Best Practices Resolve customer concerns with repairs completed at an Advantage Repair Program shop Conduct re-inspections (physical and desk) on all forms of inspection (staff appraisers, independent appraisers, direct repair shops, and drive-in appraisers) Train and coach Auto Physical Damage Examiners on damage-related items Maintain and manage relationships with approved vendors Work closely with the appraiser leadership team for training and mentoring staff field appraisers Train and coach NYCM Advantage Repair shops to improve performance and align results with corporate and divisional goals Other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma 3 years of auto appraising, auto physical damage experience, or successful completion of automotive estimating training NYS Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record Working toward I-Car certification Pro Level 1 for Estimator/Auto Physical Damage Appraiser Skills & Qualifications: Knowledge of insurance policies, basic insurance principles, and NYS Insurance Regulation 64 Proficient in CCC One estimate writing & familiar with Mitchell paint refinish guide Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) Strong evaluation and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and within a team Ability to train and coach Willingness to travel Payband 5E / 40 hours per week / Hybrid Salary: $60,500-$84,000 (location factor may apply)
