Base pay range
$155,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Work directly with internal and external teams to oversee the preparation and review of the 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and other recurring SEC filings Ensure SEC filings include all required disclosures Collaborate with various teams to prepare accounting policy memos for new transactions and analyze new accounting standards to determine impact on the funds Work directly with internal and external teams to ensure the financial results are appropriately recorded in the fund’s financial statements Manage relationship and communication with internal and external auditors; oversee SOX controls and documentation Collaborate with teams on preparing Audit Committee materials Responsible for all required fund regulatory reporting Coordinate with technology teams to improve automation of manual processes Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects Execute team’s strategic plan Generate creative solutions to improve processes Managing and mentoring junior staff Qualifications:
BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance is required CPA license is required Experience with SEC reporting and public companies is required Experience with open-ended funds and/or private equity industry is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to thrive in a team-based environment. Highly organized and proactive. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic; ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments; strong time management skills Ideal candidates would have a commitment to excellence in their work product and a desire to learn and grow as a professional Seniority level
