Details: Employment Type: Temporary, covering for a leave Duration: 6 months Pay: $60/hr Schedule: 100% remote, 9 am to 6 pm MST hours Job Duties: Interacting with all levels of management & leadership regarding disciplinary actions, performance management, separations, and exit interviews Investigation of policy violations, complaints and misconduct, and the preparation of related summary reports and recommendations Conducting internal investigations in accordance with best practices Consultation with management & employees on general complaints and policy interpretation Conducting exit interviews Counseling of employees and managers on policy matters Reviewing, researching, and recommending revisions to internal policies Mediation of workplace disputes between individuals & groups through creative conflict resolution strategies Conducting training in areas of expertise as required ER Case Management Preparing & distributing regular and ad hoc reports for HR Acuity Leave Program Management Assistance Assisting in the administration of leave programs in partnership with People Operations team. Required experience, skills, and knowledge: Prior experience of progressively responsible Human Resources experience with significant work in conducting workplace investigations and policy compliance Multistate HR/employee law and regulation knowledge and experience across all 50 states, including CA Fundamental knowledge of Human Resources practices, including Employee Relations, General Benefits Administration, and Employee development; demonstrated knowledge of current HR trends & best practices Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external partners; and ability to coach and advise employees and management through sensitive HR issues Thorough knowledge of federal anti-discrimination statutes; enhanced understanding of federal and equal employment practices & regulations Exceptional verbal and written communications, with an ability to present clear facts and recommendations Demonstrated ability to operate independently and execute on responsibilities in an environment of strict confidentiality Previous experience working in Workday and Google Suite.
