The Quality Engineer
is responsible for supporting assigned customers to ensure best-in-class quality for printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) products. This role focuses on optimizing efficiency and minimizing defect rates while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
: Serve as the primary quality support contact for assigned customers. Ensure adherence to quality standards for PCBA products throughout production and delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency. Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Develop and maintain quality documentation, including reports, procedures, and inspection protocols. Analyze defect trends and provide recommendations for reducing defect rates. Participate in customer audits and meetings to address quality-related concerns. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for PCB quality management. Qualifications
: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in PCB quality engineering or a similar role. Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes and quality assurance practices. Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Experience with quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer-facing skills. Preferred Skills
: Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, or related certifications. Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and statistical analysis tools. Salary info: $35 - $50 / hr
