Pre-clinical Dental Faculty

Overview Touro College of Dental Medicine invites applications for part-time (1-3 days/week) academic or clinical track positions in the Touro Dental Clinic. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications. The positions will remain open until filled. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Predoctoral preclinical didactic instruction and possible clinical supervision of patient care in the first and second year comprehensive care programs. Teaching associated administrative responsibilities. Committee membership and scholarly activity. Qualifications Education/Experience Doctor of Medical Dentistry required. Doctor of Dental Surgery required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities General administrative duties required. Strong attention to detail required. Effectively manage and organize daily tasks independently and with a team while balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines required. Accuracy and productivity in completing tasks required. A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgment, and discretion required. Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues required. Ability to solve complex problems and meet deadlines required. Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required. Certifications CPR Certification required. Dental License Registration required. DEA Number required. Physical Demands Extensive use of computers. Extensive time sitting and standing. Able to lift up to 5 lbs. Salary Maximum Salary: USD $70,000.00/Yr. Minimum Salary: USD $56,000.00/Yr.
