Oracle Functional Consultant - Procurement

Looking for a Lead Functional Consultant - Procurement with 15+ Years of experience & Certification in Oracle Cloud ERP Technology preferably especially in Financials Domain is Mandatory The client is currently undertaking a multi-year ERP modernization program for migrating and upgrading on-premises Oracle E-Business Financials, Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management Applications, and Kronos Workforce Management System to the latest SaaS-based Oracle Cloud ERP Platform as part of business and technology transformation initiative. The Lead Functional Consultant - Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement Cloud performs a lead role in driving the business analysis function of ERP modernization program for the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP Fusion Financials and Procurement Systems. This position resides in the ERP Transformation Program Office of the Information and Technology Services (ITS). Responsibilities:

Lead Functional Consultant Responsibilities: Lead Core ERP Project Business Analysis and Application Support Team to deliver high quality systems solutions to modernize Enterprise Applications for Financials Management, Asset Management, Procurement and Supply Chain business functional areas. Lead the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP platform and play a dual role of an experienced functional consultant and project lead responsible for successful design, implementation, and ongoing support of this platform. Work with the Finance department in analyzing current “as-is” state, defining the future “to-be” state, data conversions, integrations and reporting. Collaborate with PMO to define a detailed project plan and track milestones for on-time, on-budget delivery. Own the ‘green field’ implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP Financial implementation and provide hands-on product expertise to the Finance Functional users and IT Technical staff to gather detailed functional and technical requirements. Remain fully involved in the implementation partner/system integrator evaluation and selection process. Educate and assist the finance and procurement teams to implement key business process flows based on best practices embedded within Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, Procurement and Supply Chain Cloud applications. Direct analysis and shaping of business requirements to determine optimal product implementation by driving functional and technical design discussions. Facilitate Design Workshops, POC, CRP on Key Design Decisions, Validations and Enterprise Structures. Conduct fit-gap analysis of standard products against business requirements and lead solution design effort. Work closely with implementation partner/system integrator to ensure various functional setups, technical work artifacts and project documents are produced as per project requirements. Prepare data for data migration from legacy Oracle system to Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, Procurement and Supply Chain. Assist Finance and Procurement departments with End User Testing, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing. Refine reporting requirements, drive data conversion, and integration with other 3rd party systems. Review Oracle Cloud Financials product release notes and roadmap documents. Drive a cadence of regression testing for each quarterly product release cycle. Maintain all implementation and post-implementation documentation. Perform hands-on work including functional setups, creating sandboxes, writing solution design documents, BIP reports. Administer the Oracle Cloud environment along with the IT Operational Team. Manage development and test environments to apply scheduled changes, patching, and enhancements. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proven experience leading requirements analysis effort, documenting as-is and to-be business analysis and requirements. Ability to coordinate effectively with ERP Cloud implementation teams and system integrator firms. Experience implementing ERP Applications in the area of Oracle ERP Cloud Fusion Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Asset Management. Expertise in key financial business flows, e.g., Expense Report Approval, Procure to Pay, Financial Closing. Experience with ERP Cloud implementation methods and data conversions, integrations with Oracle Fusion. Expertise in building custom extensions to Oracle Fusion ERP. Strong Analytics and SQL skills with an understanding of data models and data migration. Prior experience in working at system integrator/implementation partner firms is an advantage. Type of Education and Certification Required:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration. A Master’s degree is preferred. Professional Certification in Oracle Cloud ERP Technology preferably in Financials Domain. Type of Experience and Number of Years:

One end-to-end full life cycle recent experience in the capacity of Lead Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant. At least five (5) years of experience as Lead Functional Consultant implementing Oracle Financials, Procurement, and Supply Chain Fusion Cloud Products. Ten (10) years of experience performing the role of a Functional Consultant implementing Oracle ERP Financials and Procurement related systems. At least fifteen (15) years of demonstrated experience as Functional Consultant. Seniority level
