Job Description:

The Government of District of Columbia - OCTO is seeking a PowerApps Developer to support the Agency IT Financial group in building PowerApps solutions. The resource will be responsible for developing model-driven PowerApps and canvas apps, re-engineering legacy applications, integrating Power Platform applications with third-party services, and implementing DevOps processes.

Develop PowerApps model-driven and canvas apps. Re-write and re-engineer legacy applications using Power Platform solutions. Integrate Power Platform applications with third-party applications using Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Logic Apps, and Dataverse APIs. Identify, develop, and deploy reports in Power BI. Develop logic apps with Middleware automation using Power Automate. Write D365 Plugins, workflows, and Power Automate flows. Create new data integrations from internal and external sources using APIs or ETL tools. Provide ongoing support of custom applications within Microsoft Dynamics. Participate in code reviews and integrate work into a code repository. Maintain existing applications and enhance performance. Serve as a Power Platform subject matter expert. Mandatory Skills/Experience:

PowerApps configuration, customization, and client-side scripting: 3+ years Advanced knowledge of Transact-SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio: 5+ years Defining requirements, setting integration standards, and developing Power Platform applications: 3+ years MS Power Platform (Power Apps Model-driven/Canvas, Power Automate/Logic Apps, Power Virtual Agents, Power BI): 3+ years Azure platform (Azure functions, Queue, Service Bus, Azure DevOps): 3+ years Leading advanced technology projects or service projects: 5+ years Full system engineering lifecycle experience: 5+ years Creating implementation/integration plans, test plans, and training materials: 5+ years Hands-on experience in specific IT products or platforms: 1+ years Building D365 Plugins, workflows, and Power Automate flows: 3+ years Developing Web Services and APIs, JSON, and related architecture: 5+ years Developing Dataverse or similar databases: 1+ years Working with large datasets, or creating and managing databases: 3+ years Consuming data via RESTful APIs, managing JSON data transfer: 3+ years Industry certification/training in specific IT product/platform or service: Required Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field: Required
