Job Responsibilities
Files records in alphabetical or numerical order, or according to subject matter or other system: Reads incoming material and sorts according to file system. May also verify accuracy of material to be filed. May also enter information on records.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or the equivalent.
Other: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Professional personal appearance. Excellent communication skills. Ability to meet company's production and quality standards. Customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail and organization skills. Is organized and able to work deadlines. Excellent math skills and ability to perform complex calculations.
Physical Requirements
Move throughout the company facility for most of the shift. Spend time indoors in air-conditioned areas.
Sitting: On a regular basis for prolonged periods.

Bending, twisting and/or stooping: On a regular basis.
Kneeling and/or Squatting: Infrequently.
Lifting: 25 lbs to 50 lbs.

Grasping/grabbing with hands: On a regular basis.

Expectations
General Expectations: Must be able to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must be organized and able to work to specified deadlines. Able to work on computer(s) for long periods of time in an office environment. Must exhibit patience and tact in dealing with employees. Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively. Understand the dealership's terminology and methodology. Follow lawful directions from supervisors. Understand and follow work rules and procedures. Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements. Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
Job-Specific Expectations: Add new material to file records, and create new records as necessary. Answer questions about records and files. Assign and record or stamp identification numbers or codes in order to index materials for filing. Eliminate outdated or unnecessary materials, destroying them or transferring them to inactive storage according to file maintenance guidelines and/or legal requirements. Find and retrieve information from files in response to requests from authorized users. Keep records of materials filed or removed, using logbooks or computers. Perform periodic inspections of materials or files in order to ensure correct placement, legibility, and proper condition. Design forms related to filing systems and scan or read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be classified or filed. Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines or online systems, and sorting mail.
