Job Title: Mortgage Underwriter
Location:
Coppell, TX 75019 / Tempe, AZ 85281/ New York, NY 10004
Pay: $23 - $24.44 hr. on W2
Duration: 12 months
Job Description: Process mortgage-related transactions, including loan funding, document execution, and invoice processing. Reconcile daily remittances with servicing teams and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory policies related to mortgage servicing. Facilitate mortgage document execution and liaise with internal/external stakeholders. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. Support key business initiatives, including onboarding new products. Qualifications & Requirements:
2-3 years of residential mortgage experience (processing, closing, funding). Knowledge of mortgage servicing processes, including loan onboarding, escrow, and remittance. Familiarity with regulatory guidelines related to mortgage servicing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage servicing tools (MSP/Director preferred). Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Bachelor's degree preferred.
