Salary Range: $110K-$120K/Annum
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. You will work closely with software developers, analysts, and data engineers to ensure data integrity and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases. Write efficient, scalable, and complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views. Optimize database performance by implementing indexing, partitioning, and query tuning. Ensure database security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies. Collaborate with developers and analysts to create data models and schemas. Perform ETL processes for data migration and transformation. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues. Work with cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL) if applicable. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. X+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or Database Developer. Strong knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle databases. Experience with query optimization and performance tuning. Familiarity with ETL tools (SSIS, Talend, Informatica, etc.). Experience with stored procedures, triggers, views, and indexing. Understanding of data warehousing and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus. Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus. Knowledge of Python, Java, or C# for database interactions is a plus. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop). Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines for database deployment. Certifications in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or AWS/Azure databases.
