Position Summary

As a CRM Configuration Specialist, you will serve the crucial role of configuring and customizing the MS Dynamics 365 & Power Platform cloud-based enterprise software in support of business objectives meant to enhance customer care and experiences. You will work as a bridge between the CRM platform and its users, capturing user requirements and turning them into sound business solutions based on knowledge of best practices. You will be tasked with system user administration, form and view configurations, creating workflows, maintaining application data quality, performing application environment deployments (including post-deployment support and training to end users), and fulfilling the platform’s integration needs with Neptune internal systems and external 3rd party systems.

Objectives:

Platform Management (60%)

Perform system configurations and customizations of the MS Dynamics CRM platform

System Administration of user security roles, field security roles, and audit reviews

Support QA and UAT testing of CRM Platform and end-to-end cross-team applications

Stakeholder Engagement, Training, and Support (30%)

Configuration of enhancement requests and new features

User training & documentation for system-defined processes

Serve as subject matter expert for MS Dynamics CRM & Power Platform best practices

Drive Quality & Promote Team Growth (10%)

Ensure system and business process changes are appropriately documented

Participate in agile team ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives

Maintain and share professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review professional publications, develop personal networks, and participate in professional groups

Requirements:

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience

Experience

3+ years of experience in a CRM and/or software application configuration role

Interpersonal Skills

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate and present technical and business ideas to diverse audiences

Creative thinker with the ability to adapt and strategize value-driven business solutions

Able to work under targeted project timelines and manage changing priorities

Customer-centric: excellent team player on a global, cross-functional team sharing common business objectives

Technical Skills

Solid background using CRM foundational components

Functional knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 configuration, customization, workflows, and plugins

HTML, JS, TypeScript Web resources, and Unified Interface experience preferred

Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, including model-driven and canvas apps, and Microsoft Power Automate

Experience with Microsoft Power Portals – designing, configurations, and integrations with non-Power Platform applications, UI development, and Liquid scripting a plus

Knowledge of Web tools technologies and languages including ASP.net, HTML, JavaScript, XML, XLS, AJAX, JSON, .Net Core, including multi-threaded applications

Experience using code and project management tools including GitHub, TFS, JIRA, and Confluence

Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 CRM environments, code merge, deployments, and CI/CD

Ability to create technical and functional documentation of software components

Troubleshooting and support for all CRM environments

Preferred Qualifications:

MS Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Power Platform Certification desired/preferred, or candidate is willing to pursue
