Role Overview
Creshendo is seeking a Grant Director to lead our grant-seeking efforts, focusing on securing large-scale, international funding opportunities. This individual will be responsible for writing competitive grant proposals, identifying funding opportunities, and overseeing a small team of researchers who assist in grant prospecting.
The ideal candidate has
proven experience in securing grants, excellent writing skills, and the ability to craft compelling proposals
that align with funders’ priorities. As a key part of Creshendo’s fundraising efforts, this role is essential to sustaining and expanding our impact. Key Responsibilities Grant Writing & Submission:
Write and submit strong grant proposals, with a focus on securing large-scale
international and institutional grants . Funding Strategy Development:
Identify and pursue funding opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and international funders. Team Management:
Oversee
1-2 grant researchers
who assist in identifying funding opportunities and gathering background information. Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure grant proposals align with funder guidelines, submission requirements, and impact reporting needs. Collaboration:
Work closely with Creshendo’s leadership team to align grant proposals with organizational priorities. Qualifications Proven experience writing and securing grants , preferably for international organizations or large-scale funding. Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals. Experience managing grant application pipelines, from research to submission. Ability to oversee and guide a small research team, ensuring strategic alignment. Familiarity with international funders, institutional grants, and government funding opportunities. Availability to dedicate at least
