SSD is seeking a Systems Engineer (Design and Interface Design)
Software certification- for all applicable avionics modifications, System Design and Interface Design Engineering shall design F-16 on-aircraft electrical and software interfaces, wiring (harnesses and loose wire assemblies), electrical components (matrix assemblies, panel, etc.), and mechanical components (mounting trays, brackets, etc.) for applicable Avionics Modifications.
Employee will design installation procedures; document designs; perform TVI and Kit proof using applicable documentation; specify environmental qualification requirements; review test data for compliance; and prepare final products for distribution to field locations.
Draft and provide preliminary designs and draft documentation for Operational Utility Evaluation. Use the preliminary or draft data on a flight-test aircraft system. The employee shall use design data only for flight-test aircraft systems.
Secret Clearance
Minimum 5 years experience
