The
Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
plays a key role in
escalation support, cloud infrastructure projects, and operational efficiency . This position is responsible for
resolving complex technical issues, assisting with deployments, and ensuring seamless IT operations . The ideal candidate has
6+ years of hands-on experience
in IT infrastructure and cloud support, with expertise in
Microsoft Azure, M365, networking, and virtualization . Key Responsibilities
Escalation Support & Troubleshooting Serve as the
final escalation point
for cloud, network, and endpoint issues. Diagnose and resolve advanced technical problems related to
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls . Ensure quick and effective
incident resolution , collaborating with cross-functional teams. Project Implementation & Collaboration Assist with
cloud infrastructure deployments and migrations . Work with the
Front Line Services and Projects teams
to optimize workflows. Provide
technical guidance
to internal teams and clients, ensuring best practices. Cloud & Network Management Manage and troubleshoot
Azure environments, M365 services, and virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware) . Configure and maintain
firewalls, routers, and switches , addressing Layer 2 and 3 networking challenges. Oversee
backup and disaster recovery solutions
to ensure data security and integrity. Operational Excellence & Documentation Maintain
comprehensive documentation
for escalated issues and project implementations. Track service metrics ( CSAT, NPS ) and contribute to continuous process improvements. Participate in
on-call rotations (4-5 times per year)
to support after-hours escalations. Required Skills & Experience
6+ years
in
IT infrastructure and cloud support . 3+ years in an escalation support role
within an MSP environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, M365, and hybrid cloud environments . Strong experience in
firewall security, virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware), and networking (CCNA preferred) . Hands-on expertise with
Microsoft Intune, Autopilot configuration, and Azure virtual networking . Proven ability to
lead or support IT projects , from planning to execution. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
or equivalent certifications. Certifications (preferred): Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft 365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) ITIL or Project Management certifications Why Join?
