POSITION DISCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Nutritional Services Sanitation Coordinator, the Nutritional Services Sanitation Aide is responsible for ware washing, soiled tray cart retrieval and maintenance of a clean and orderly work area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Demonstrates ability to prepare dishmachine work stations
Ensures that dishmachine work stations are cleaned and sanitized during and at the conclusion of shift, following established policies and guidelines
Adheres to infection control and food handling procedures as outlined in department standards
Demonstrates ability to safely operate equipment related to position; reports maintenance needs and malfunctions to Coordinator (s)
Exhibits a commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude when change is needed
Maintains records for area equipment
Utilizes and demonstrates knowledge of MSDS sheets
Maintains a safe and clean work environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED, preferred but not required
Good interpersonal skills
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Required to be on feet much of the time
Lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling
Pay Range: $16.70 - $24.20
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
