Pay range: $65k-$70k

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager reports to the Regional Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive continuous improvement and maximize productivity and efficiency to reduce overall costs. As the Warehouse Manager, this position must be knowledgeable in all facets of distribution operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers (HVAC contractors, Dealers, internal associates, etc.)
  • Direct achievement of performance objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee morale.
  • Supervise the performance of all tasks involved in the shipment, requisition, and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment into and from the warehouse.
  • Lead operational efforts aimed at maintaining accurate inventory throughout the supply channel.
  • Monitor workflow, work completed, error rates, and related metrics and take corrective action.
  • Ensure procedures are established, implemented, and adhered to by all team members.
  • Collaborate to improve the overall product supply operation, performance, and maximize overall operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure quality and inspection processes are accurate and excess costs are eliminated.
  • Maintain discipline in the use of forklifts (maintenance, speed control, etc.) along with safety of all equipment.
  • Ensure all storage equipment is maintained and inspected according to company and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure a continuous stream of talent to sustain organizational/department growth and improve operations by attracting, retaining, and developing team members to meet their needs for career growth.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in basic PC skills and Microsoft products.
  • Able to operate RF scanning equipment as well as function in a bin pick environment.
  • Strong creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent judgment and initiative, with the ability to work as a hands-on supervisor.

Must work well under pressure as a team player with the ability to multitask.

Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent (Required); AA/AS degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Logistics preferred.
  • Experienced forklift operator/warehouse shipping professional, with at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills; must be a team builder as well as a team player.
