We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Public Relations Manager to enhance our brand presence and drive consumer engagement through strategic PR initiatives. This role will focus on consumer sales, ensuring that our brand messaging, media relations, and communications efforts directly support business growth and customer outreach. The Public Relations Manager will develop and execute PR strategies that increase brand awareness, support sales initiatives, and enhance the company's reputation in the consumer market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media relations, storytelling, influencer partnerships, and digital PR to drive consumer interest and product demand.
A successful candidate must be able to:
Develop & Execute PR Strategies - Design consumer-focused PR campaigns that align with marketing and sales goals. Media & Influencer Relations - Build and nurture relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to drive brand awareness. Product & Brand Storytelling - Craft compelling press releases, media kits, and content that highlight product benefits and company values. Consumer-Focused Events - Plan and execute PR efforts for product launches, retail partnerships, pop-up events, and trade shows. Crisis Communication - Develop proactive and reactive PR plans to manage brand reputation and respond to public concerns. Social Media & Digital PR - Partner with the digital marketing team to amplify PR messaging through online platforms.. Consumer Sentiment Analysis - Monitor media coverage, online conversations, and public perception to adjust strategies as needed.. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer experience teams to ensure consistent messaging. Oversee the PR budget - Develop timelines, and manage resources for various PR campaigns and initiatives. Performance Measurement - Track PR campaign success through media coverage reports, audience engagement metrics, and sales impact. A successful candidate will demonstrate:
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging press releases, statements, and external communication materials. In-depth knowledge of crisis communication techniques to manage sensitive or challenging situations. Strong verbal communication skills for working with media, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously. Comfortable and confident in representing the company in interviews, press conferences, and public speaking engagements. Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years in public relations, preferably in a consumer-facing industry (retail, e-commerce, tech, lifestyle, etc.). Proven track record of securing media placements and collaborating with influencers. Experience in PR strategies that directly support sales and customer engagement. Exceptional writing, editing, and public speaking skills for media interactions. Ability to handle sensitive situations and protect brand reputation. Ability to manage multiple PR initiatives and meet tight deadlines. Experience leveraging online platforms to engage consumers and drive brand awareness. Physical Requirements:
