Job Title: Personal Injury Trial Attorney
Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an experienced and driven Personal Injury Trial Attorney. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing legal team dedicated to advocating for clients in personal injury cases. The selected attorney will handle complex litigation cases from intake through to settlement or trial, working alongside a dynamic team of professionals. Duties:
Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from intake through settlement or jury verdict Communicate with clients to provide legal counsel and updates on case progress Conduct depositions, represent clients in mediations, and prepare cases for trial Develop and execute case strategies Research legal precedents and draft necessary motions Present cases in court and lead in first-chair jury trials Collaborate with a national team of attorneys and local support staff Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation Proven track record as a first-chair trial attorney Licensed and in good standing with the Florida State Bar Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure and Evidence Rules Experience drafting and responding to motions Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Florida Certifications:
Active membership with the Florida State Bar Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and legal research abilities Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail A driven, team-oriented, and accountable work ethic Job Location:
