Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Foundry Engineer at Alliant Castings, Inc. The Foundry Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the casting processes, ensuring quality control, optimizing production efficiency, designing tooling, gating systems, and collaborating with the production team. This role is located in Winona, MN.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of casting processes and metallurgy
- Knowledge of all of the following software programs: MAGAM, SolidWorks, CAD, PolyWorks
- Experience with designing patterns/ tool, gating systems, & core boxes.
- Experience in quality control and process optimization
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a production team
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years experience in related field
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in foundry operations
