Our client, an investment firm, is seeking a Desktop Engineer to join their team in New York, NY!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain Ivanti MobileIron and Microsoft Intune for mobile phones, including certificate renewals, policy creation, and updates.
- Oversee laptop and desktop management through Intune, including software deployments, patching, and policy enforcement.
- Lead Sentry server upgrades and oversee complex application/service upgrades.
- Conduct regular system health checks, compliance reviews, and road map planning.
- Manage Access as a Service configurations.
- Administer and troubleshoot Okta integrations.
- Create, test, and maintain Group Policy settings.
- Maintain and troubleshoot DHCP, DNS, and endpoint configurations.
- Monitor market trends and recommend upgrades and new endpoint solutions.
- Act as an SME working closely with global IT teams to align system configurations and best practices.
- Track activities in ServiceNow and produce detailed technical documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in desktop engineering or IT support in an enterprise or professional services environment.
- Expert-level experience with Ivanti MobileIron and Microsoft Intune for mobile device and desktop management.
- Strong experience with Sentry server upgrades, Access as a Service, and certificate renewals.
- Proven ability to create, test, and maintain Group Policy settings.
- Experience in Intune software deployment and patching for desktop/laptop environments.
- Knowledge of Okta integration, troubleshooting, DHCP, and DNS.
- Strong documentation skills using ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication skills—this is a front-office, client-facing role working closely with global teams.
