Brooksource is currently seeking a Senior Facets Configuration Specialist. This individual will be responsible for the advanced configuration and maintenance of the Facets system to support our client’s healthcare operations. This role involves leading a team, collaborating with various departments to ensure the system meets business needs, analyzing data, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of system configurations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • System Configuration : Lead the configuration of the Facets system, including benefit plans, provider contracts, and claims processing rules.
  • Team Leadership : Serve as a team lead, providing guidance and support to team members. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Accountability : Hold team members accountable for their deliverables, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Data Analysis : Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Utilize analytical tools to generate actionable insights.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance : Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure system configurations function as intended. Identify and resolve issues during testing.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with IT, operations, customer service, and other departments to align system configurations with organizational goals.
  • Documentation and Training : Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and processes. Provide training to staff on the effective use of the Facets system.
  • Problem-Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Project Management : Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving or upgrading the Facets system. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Compliance : Ensure all configurations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Facets system configuration, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.


Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Leadership and team management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or certifications in related fields.
  • Experience with other healthcare management systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL and other database management tools.
