Our client, a media and entertainment non-profit in NYC, is looking for Director, Digital Growth and Marketing Analytics. Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Partnerships, this individual will play a critical role in driving business growth by overseeing digital marketing campaigns, data analytics, and content strategy to enhance audience engagement, increase membership, and optimize digital performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing analytics and a proven track record of scaling audience growth within entertainment, media, or agency environments.
- This role is onsite 5 days per week in NYC (10019).
- Ideally this role would start contract to hire, but the team is also open to straight perm hire for the right individual.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the social media editorial calendar, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and audience engagement goals.
- Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including paid media, email marketing, social media, and web.
- Oversee website development, architecture, and Content Management Systems (CMS) to ensure seamless user experiences and effective content distribution.
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret real-time data analytics, making strategic recommendations and adjustments to optimize marketing performance.
- Drive digital initiatives to increase membership, ticket sales, visitor traffic, engagement, viewership, and subscriber growth.
- Identify and act on audience trends and viewer traffic patterns to maximize organic reach and conversion opportunities.
- Implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve user engagement and retention.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and technology teams to align digital initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), generate insights, and create data-driven reports to inform executive decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, audience growth, and marketing analytics within entertainment, media, or agency environments.
- Demonstrated success in developing and scaling multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable business results.
- Strong expertise in data analytics, with the ability to interpret key trends and optimize marketing initiatives in real-time.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, SEO, paid media platforms, email marketing tools, and social media analytics.
- Experience managing Content Management Systems (CMS), website development, and digital architecture.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a strategic mindset and problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies.
