POSITION:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Content and Marketing Coordinator with experience writing and managing website content, specifically within a professional sports environment. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, the ability to configure and update website and mobile app content, and the ability to and a keen eye for accuracy and consistency. Additionally, they will support internal teams by ensuring website content aligns with branding and organizational goals.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Write, edit, and manage website content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Configure and maintain website and mobile app pages, ensuring functionality and a seamless user experience.
- Work alongside the SDFC Sales Team to assist in sales communication including email, website, and other lead generation efforts.
- Ensure all website and mobile app content is up to date, including team information, schedules, promotions, and announcements.
- Work with internal departments to ensure website content supports business objectives.
- Monitor site performance, troubleshoot content issues, and ensure accessibility standards are met.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates can meet the requirements with a combination of experience in the following areas:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Sport Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience writing and managing website content, preferably in a professional sports setting.
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and brand voice consistency, preferably in a professional sports setting.
- Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and basic HTML knowledge.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to craft persuasive marketing messages to support sales initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple content updates and deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Forge and YinzCam Mobile App preferred.
- Experience in professional sports industry.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools and SEO best practices.
- Basic graphic design editing skills.
- Spanish Language Copy Writing skills.
