We’re seeking a Sales Manager to manage our established socks and hosiery business and continue growing our national retail presence. They will work with our Vice President of Sales to execute strategies in an assortment of brands to grow sales. This role involves managing buyer and DMM relationships as well as working closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Design, Marketing, Production, and Sourcing.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute key growth sales plans required to achieve/beat financial targets
  • Open new account opportunities for licensed brands
  • Participate in account planning and strategy including revenue goals
  • Run/Attend/Prepare/Strategize for all key account sales meetings
  • Identify account opportunities and help set direction
  • Present brand overview to all new accounts
  • Assure assortments meet individual account business needs and expectations
  • Shop key accounts and competition and regularly provide competitive samples
  • Monitor market trends and inform team
  • Partner with all internal teams to provide brand updates for all departments
  • Ensure merchandising needs fit within budget plans
  • Manage business needs for all accounts; daily, monthly, quarterly.
  • Master internal/external systems: i.e. SAP; Air Table; account portals.
  • Manage full inventory within brands with diligence and accuracy.
  • Build annual projections and forecasts.
  • Handle all piece good buys for all accounts in a timely manner.
  • Profitability responsibilities: oversee costing and negotiations with internal teams and manage deals and margin negotiations with external partners.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers.
  • Create clear and concise channels of communication between USA Legwear/PVH Legwear and accounts.
  • Build a sincere rapport with buyers and DMMs.
  • Brand management responsibilities include crafting strong relationships with the licensor.
  • Consistent open communication with licensor teams- Adhering to ad hoc requests and maintenance and liaison between both companies
  • Provide business updates and financial information in accordance with a planned schedule.
  • Champion brand building with internal Marketing teams to bring innovative packaging and excitement to market each season.
  • Curate newness with Design and Technical Design to drive product development into white space opportunities.
  • Work in tandem with Operations, Warehouse, and Imports to manage timely shipments and accuracy on all Pos and projects.
  • Partner with internal Planning team to manage account needs, i.e. replenishment
  • Projecting needs based on sales analysis and data.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in selling to Clubs, full price retailers, and specialty chain accounts
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in breaking new accounts and building buyer relationships
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate
  • Excellent reporting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated and experienced in brand management
  • Strong skillset in multitasking with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • SAP experience is a plus


Annual salary starting at $110,000
