About the Role
Seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer / Frontend Lead to drive frontend design and implementation. This role requires strong UX/UI skills, expertise in modern frontend frameworks, and the ability to execute without a dedicated designer. Responsibilities span technical leadership, hands-on development, and collaboration with backend teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own frontend development from design to deployment, setting best practices and architecture.
- Independently drive UX/UI design, ensuring intuitive and visually cohesive interfaces.
- Develop and optimize responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications.
- Collaborate with backend teams to design and implement efficient APIs.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a strong engineering culture.
- Lead performance, security, and accessibility initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- 10+ years of frontend development experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
- Expert proficiency in React, TypeScript, and frontend architecture .
- Strong UX/UI skills with experience designing and implementing without a dedicated designer.
- Experience with state management, CI/CD, and modern frontend best practices .
- Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or other design tools .
- Background in healthcare, biotech, or privacy-focused applications (HIPAA knowledge a plus).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and leading small teams.
