This is a great opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting and Solutions Business working with some of the world's leading financial institutions.

The Salesforce Developer will be part of a modernisation programme for our client's tech landscape.

Skills & Experience: Salesforce Development: Strong expertise in developing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies. Collaborative Development: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as business analysts, product managers, and architects to deliver Salesforce solutions. End-to-End Development: Full lifecycle experience from requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support for Salesforce solutions. Custom Application Development: Proven experience in designing and building custom applications on Salesforce to meet specific business requirements, using declarative and programmatic approaches. Lightning Framework: Hands-on experience in developing Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components, optimising for performance and user experience. Apex & SOQL: Strong proficiency in Apex development, including triggers, classes, and batch processes, as well as writing complex queries using Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL). Salesforce Data Models: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce data models, including standard and custom objects, and designing efficient relationships (e.g., master-detail, lookup) to ensure optimal performance. User Interface Design: Experience in designing and implementing user-friendly interfaces using Salesforce Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience with Salesforce testing tools, including writing unit tests with Apex, ensuring code coverage, and adhering to best practices for test-driven development (TDD). CI/CD & Deployment: Familiarity with CI/CD processes, using tools like Salesforce DX, Git, and Jenkins to automate testing, deployment, and version control processes. Debugging & Troubleshooting: Strong debugging skills with tools like Salesforce Developer Console, Visual Studio Code, and browser-based tools to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently. Integration Experience: Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi). Salesforce Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce development best practices, including governor limits, efficient data handling, and code optimisation. Version Control: Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing codebases, branches, and pull requests in a team environment. Deployment Tools: Familiarity with deployment tools such as Change Sets, Salesforce CLI, and ANT for migrating changes between environments. Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, and any relevant certifications to demonstrate proficiency in Salesforce development. Performance Optimisation: Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Salesforce applications, ensuring scalability and high availability of solutions. Financial Services & Payments Knowledge: Experience working within the financial services or payments industry, with an understanding of industry-specific requirements and regulatory compliance.
