SUMMARY: Oversees, coordinates, administers, and evaluates field recruitment strategies and initiatives to ensure effectiveness, consistency, and compliance with the staffing plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, but other duties may be assigned.

  • Answers the department telephone, takes messages, forwards calls and coordinates with callers, emplooyees and TMM Managers
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all open positions
  • Maintains records of resumes, applicant flow and employee
  • Assists and coordinates job fairs with public organizations as
  • Initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings and provides informationabout the organization and position. Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and work conditions, policies and other information.
  • Greets and screens visitors, as appropriate. Exhibits tact and diplomacy in dealing with a variety ofpeople. Understands company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures all recruitment activities are up-to-date and proper documentation has been entered in assigned places.
  • Uses the computer to access Outlook Web to review, monitor, submit and answer emails. Also sets reminders and calendar invites via Outlook Web Calendar
  • Uses the computer to prepare Word and Excel documents in support of the operations, including documents such as work schedules, QA reports, disciplinary action forms and other operational or personnel documents.
  • Uses the computer to process payroll through Kronos and prepares required payroll reports. Uses the computer to access company required sites
  • Tracks employee attendance daily and logs in Attendance Log. Reviews Payroll Register weekly/biweekly for discrepancies.
  • Assists in the preparation and processing of pre-employment and new hire orientation paperwork for applicants and new employees via Onboarding and ADP
  • Maintains Annual Recurring Training binder current and up to date ensuring that account is compliant with monthly training and all members of management are aware of the monthly topics. Also ensures employee signatures have been
  • Maintains employee personnel files to include separate ID files and employee confidential Conducts quarterly audits of employee personnel files to include confidential files.
  • Demonstrates regular, predictable attendance at the job site or
  • Assists with special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects as
  • Assists with any other Administrative or training task that may be assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Web, and other computer knowledge. Basic knowledge of Payroll reporting and Kronos is a bonus, but not a requirement.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to speak, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, programs, policies and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.

MATH ABILITY:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in liquid units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete varialbes in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a varity of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheudle form.
