Job Summary

BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the supervision of the Chief Operations Officer, operate a school bus to transport
students to and from school sites and assume responsibility for their safety while passengers in the school bus; ensure the safety of all passengers, including special education students while operating the assigned bus; ensure the assigned bus is always in a safe operating condition.
Drivers may be assigned to drive wheelchairs or ambulatory buses. Employees in this
classification may frequently work nontraditional workweeks, workdays, work hours, and/or holidays.

Must hold a valid California Driver License
DMV issued California School Bus Certificate preferred
Work schedule: 182 workdays a year with hours being determined by route bidding
