CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Specialist – Cloud Application Operations opening for our client in Orlando, FL.

Duration:

8 months

Duties:

Manage and support cloud-based application operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Deliver compute platform architecture patterns and reference architecture to support Travel Services operations.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure to maintain seamless functionality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions.

Perform incident response, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for cloud-based applications.

Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices within cloud environments.

Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Provide technical expertise and guidance on cloud infrastructure and application deployment.

Prepare and present technical reports, architecture documentation, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Skills:

Strong communication and excellent presentation skills.

Extensive knowledge of Travel Services infrastructure and cloud computing technologies.

Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Expertise in performance monitoring, security best practices, and incident management.

Ability to deliver compute platform architecture patterns and reference architecture.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud application operations, infrastructure management, or a related field.

Hands-on experience working with cloud-based environments and services.

Experience in Travel Services technology is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Candidate must be local to Orlando, FL, or willing to relocate.
