Position Overview:
A highly regarded Miami-based law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Real Estate Attorney to join our distinguished practice. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working on a broad range of real estate matters, including complex commercial transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, leases, financing, and development projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing for commercial and residential clients.
- Draft and negotiate key transactional documents such as purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and joint venture agreements.
- Advise clients on real estate development, land use, zoning, and regulatory issues.
- Provide counsel on due diligence processes, title review, and closing procedures.
- Represent clients in real estate disputes, including landlord-tenant issues, title disputes, and construction-related matters.
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals.
- Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm on cross-disciplinary matters.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- 5+ years of experience practicing real estate law, preferably at a top law firm or in a similar sophisticated practice.
- Strong understanding of real estate law, including commercial leases, acquisitions and dispositions, title and survey review, financing, and development.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions and work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
