Job Duties Include

  • Conduct time and motion studies to analyze warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts, storage configurations, and material handling systems to optimize space utilization and streamline workflows.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends, analyze performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Design and implement lean principles, including 5S, visual management, and waste reduction strategies, to improve operational efficiency and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Collaborate with IT and automation teams to implement warehouse management systems (WMS), material handling equipment (MHE), and other technologies to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials to ensure consistent execution of warehouse processes and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase order accuracy, reduce cycle times, and improve order fulfillment rates.
  • Analyze inventory levels and demand patterns to optimize inventory management practices and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Provide technical support and training to warehouse personnel on new processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support new client onboarding, process optimizations, and continuous improvement projects.


The ideal candidate will possess experience with the following computer programs:

  • Microsoft Excel and Access (must be proficient)
  • AutoCAD or similar design software
  • Proplanner (preferred)
  • Factory Flow (preferred)
  • M.O.S.T. (preferred)
  • Writing and developing Macros in Excel (preferred)


Other requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
  • 0-5 years of engineering experience within a warehouse or distribution environment (preferred)
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
