Director of R&D

We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Director of R&D to lead research & development, process innovation, and quality improvements. As the face of our innovation team, you will work closely with customers, technical sales teams, and cross-functional internal groups to develop new products, optimize processes, and enhance technologies. While coffee expertise is a plus, it is not required—what matters most is technical agility, leadership, and the ability to turn ideas into actionable innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead R&D, and process innovation for beverage applications.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to identify and meet customer demands.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create new product formulations and improve existing processes.
• Lead and develop a high-performing technical team, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Own the roasting and extraction processes, identifying new methods for optimization and efficiency.

Ideal:

• Experience in R&D, product development, and process innovation within beverages, coffee, or food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership skills—able to manage internal and external expertise and drive projects forward.
• Experience working on cross-functional projects with marketing, engineering, and sales teams.
• Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and developing new processes.
