About The Position
We are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide coverage at a busy emergency department in Chattanooga, TN. This 25-bed ED sees a daily census of 195 patients, with 40 admissions per day and approximately 5 consults per day. Providers will work varied shifts, including 8 AM - 6 PM, 9 AM - 9 PM, and 3 PM - 1 AM, with no call required. Responsibilities include performing suturing, incision & drainage (I&D), and reductions with physician assistance while treating a diverse patient population, 95% of whom are adults.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of Emergency Department experience
  • Board Certification (AANP or NCCPA)
  • Active Tennessee License (or willingness to obtain)
  • ACLS & BLS Certification
