SUMMARY Utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, the Higher Education Director develops, implements, and maintains a comprehensive post-secondary education and career development center. Skilled in group leadership, the Director has the major responsibility for supervising the Learning Center, including Adult Education, WIA, Higher Education, Vocational, and Distance Education College programs and staff and related grants' compliance. The Director is also responsible for designing, acquiring, shaping, enforcing, and supervising policies and procedures for ensuring quality programming. The Director is the point person for Tribal Engagement with higher learning institutions and works with appropriate Tribal departments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in education or related field with a minimum of three (3) years of past working experience in Higher Education. Background in post-secondary administration, instructional programming, and/or grant development. Obtain and maintain a clear background (in accordance with Tribal Ordinances). CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain. Valid driver license and be insurable by Tribe. Application Deadline:
