Special Education Teacher (SPED)
that is certified in the state of practice to work in a school setting. This is a contract, full time position. Duties and Responsibilities Include: The Teacher provides programming The Special Education Teacher conducts individualized criterion referenced inventories of behavior repertoires (assessments) for all students on an annual basis. The Specialist Education Teacher presents individualized instruction to all students with a minimum per student and measures, graphs, and analyzes all students progress on all IEP objectives on a daily basis. The Teacher analyzes student progress on a daily or moment to moment basis and working closely with Behavior Analyst Supervisors to design phase and change and note objectives for each individual student. The Teacher works with Behavior Analyst Supervisor on the development of curricula and behavior procedures to be followed in the class Requirements include: Must be NYSED certified in SWD or Special Education.
