Project Specialist II/Project Engineer

Description :

This contract position is an on-site position that will be accountable for assisting with the instrumentation master data cleansing, documentation modification and User Acceptance Test (UAT) activities involved in the updating of the site CCMS (Computerized Calibration Management System).


The candidate will be responsible for:

Participation in cross-functional meetings

Data mine instrument information

Updating of master data as identified

Contribute to the new system testing activities

Support document updates/creations in preparation for implementation

Assist in training activities


Ideal candidate will be familiar with:

Knowledge of both Pharmaceutical Utility systems as well as production floor process equipment

Calibration related activities and best practices in a pharmaceutical environment

Process &Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs)

Engineering Turnover packages (ETOP)

SAP Technical Object knowledge and experience (Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, etc.)

Large scale capital project dynamics and new program implementation

Pharmaceutical change management requirements


Experience :

1 to 5 Years in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry. Master data manipulation experience within a regulated environment.


Skills

Necessary skills include:

Experience with electronic instrument databases. Preference given to ProCal and SAP experience.

Ability to navigate engineering drawings (P&IDs) and Engineering Turnover Packages (ETOPs)

Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and TEAMS.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Able/Willingness to receive the vaccines required to enter various production buildings and laboratories on site.

Able to climb ladders, stairs, and walk around a large production site as needed.

Working hours Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Will have to learn and adhere to all site safety and compliance procedures and requirements


Education

High School Diploma with relevant training and job-related experience, i.e., worked as an instrument project engineer or calibration technician. Preference given to related higher-level degrees and instrumentation specification experience.
