With a 30+ year history, our client is a leading owner/operator of commercial and retail real estate, with 300+ locations across the United States. They are a privately held, vertically integrated company with inhouse development, acquisitions, property and asset management teams. They have retained 20/20 Foresight to recruit a Creative Director who will play an integral part in their marketing efforts and oversee internal Graphic Designers.
Position
The Creative Director will be responsible for leading brand strategy, visual identity, and marketing design efforts across our client’s portfolio. This role will drive creative vision, ensuring cohesive storytelling and design excellence across all digital, print and experiential touchpoints. The Creative Director will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to elevate brand perception and engage stakeholders, including investors, tenants, and the broader community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a compelling creative vision that aligns with the company’s brand, mission, and business objectives.
- Oversee all visual branding, marketing collateral, digital content, and experiential design across various real estate assets.
- Lead a team of designers, copywriters, and collaborate with internal Marketing Team to produce high-quality content for web, social media, advertising, presentations and environmental graphics.
- Partner with marketing, leasing, development and executive leadership to craft storytelling strategies that enhance property positioning and market appeal.
- Ensure brand consistency across all projects, maintaining a high standard of design excellence.
- Oversee creative production timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, design innovations, and competitor branding strategies to keep the company’s marketing efforts on the cutting-edge.
- Present creative concepts and strategies to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in creative direction, branding, or design, ideally within real estate, hospitality, or retail sectors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand development, digital content, and marketing campaigns.
- Deep understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant design tools.
- Experience leading and managing creative teams and external agency partners.
- Strong understanding of real estate marketing, placemaking, and audience engagement strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
