Job Title: Teamsters Clerk III
Department Name: Clerk of Courts
Starting Rate: $15.86 per hour
Dauphin County Clerk of Courts
is currently accepting applications for the
full-time
position of
Teamsters Clerk III (Expungement/Commitment Clerk) . An employee in this position is responsible for receiving and preparing records for expungement, answering phones, filing documents, accepting electronic filings and assisting clients at the counter. The employee in this role is also responsible for documenting court sheets and preparing court commitments for distribution to both county and state correctional intuitions. The employee in this role is also responsible for but not limited to performing the following essential functions listed below: Prepares and maintains records. Receives and reviews documents for accuracy and completeness. Types, prepares, and dockets cases processed through the department. Collects fees and issues receipts. Greets and assists clients at the counter. Answer phone inquiries or directs questions to proper individuals or other departments. Prepares files for scanning and docketing. Assists other employees as required. Ensures all duties of the department are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Operates computer, scanner, copier, and other office equipment as needed. Dockets, images and files all documents (electronic and paper) filed. Performs all other duties as assigned. Prepares and processes expungements. Prepares and processes both state and county commitments. This is a Union/Teamsters position.
Minimum Education, Experience, and Training Requirements
Graduation from High School or an accredited equivalency program required. Computer and data entry experience required. A favorable criminal background is also required.
