Adelphi is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide long term services. We will only consider local candidates (no relocation or per diem) services to an education facility in St. Louis, MO. The Ideal candidate will have experience with children, young adults and children with special needs aged 6- 21 years old; and will be scheduled through the normal school year and summer programs. Summary: • Profession: Allied Health • Specialty: Physical Therapist • Location: St. Louis, MO • Service Setting: School for the Blind • Job Type: Part-time • Start Date: ASAP to work through 24-25 school year and beyond • Shift Schedule: Tue 8:00AM - 1:00PM, Wed 8:30AM- 12:30PM and Thur 8:00AM- 2:00PM. This may change • Population: Elementary & Middle school • Rate: $65 / hour Requirements: • Active Missouri license • Demonstrate the technical knowledge and skill levels required to provide the service • Have a pleasant demeanor and a positive outlook Responsibilities: • Provide physical therapy to preserve, enhance, or restore movement and physical function utilizing therapeutic exercise, physical modalities, assistive devices • Provide education and training • Providing direct therapy services that are in student IEPs • Preparing student progress reports to the classroom teachers (at least every quarter but may be more frequent) • Making goal recommendations for the team to consider • Conducting PT evaluations if any are requested for a student.
