About The Position

A facility is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Toms River, New Jersey.
The schedule for this position is from Monday at 7 AM to the following Monday at 7 AM, with on-call duties required during weeknights and weekends. Rounding is involved, and the role includes seeing about 15 patients per day, which covers both consultations and scheduled procedures. The required procedures and cases include general GI procedures such as colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, upper endoscopies, duodenoscopes, gastroscopies, and barium swallows, as well as ERCPs. However, EUS (endoscopic ultrasound) is not required for this position.
