Healthy Child Care Colorado is hiring: KindiePrep Teacher American Academy Chart

American Academy (AA) KindiePrep has an opening for a full-time preschool teacher for our 2025-2026 school year at our Motsenbocker campus. KindiePrep is a preschool program designed for children from ages three to five years old that prepares young children with an early foundation for educational success, emphasizing a whole-child approach to academics, social-emotional development and creative play.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the mission and philosophy of American Academy with enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
• Teach American Academy’s curriculum as designed.
• Uphold and model American Academy’s Core Virtues and AA Manners.
• Work as a positive team member to provide an exceptional educational experience.
• Meet each child’s academic, social and emotional needs.
• Provide a safe, nurturing environment to ensure each child’s developmental growth.
• Develop and maintain a positive partnership with parents through frequent communication of progress and concerns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, related field, or must be teacher qualified according to Colorado State Child Care Guidelines.
• Colorado State Teacher License preferred, but not required.

Preferred Experience:

• Preschool Core Knowledge Language Arts
• Familiarity with a hands on, experiential science program
• Understanding of best practices in teaching early reading and writing skills according to each child’s developmental needs
• Experience teaching basic math skills in a preschool environment through the GoMath! curriculum
