Victoria Harbour is seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team in providing an exceptional experience to our marina members, and guests. Employees will help provide coverage on the gas dock working inside and outside the ship store. The positions is Seasonal and last through October.

Ideal candidates for the position are at least 16 years old, have a passion for helping people, enjoy working in an outdoor environment, and can work in a team or individual setting. They are available to work weekends, especially holiday weekends, and are excited to work 20-40 hours each week.

Gas Dock Coverage:

• Assists boaters as they dock to get fuel and visit the ship store.
• Assists boaters as they depart from the dock.
• Ensures boats depart in a timely manner to avoid congestion.
• Assists boaters as they dock to get fuel and visit the ship store.
• Keep the ship store shelves stocked, organized and clean.
• Handles cash and card transactions while operating a Point-of-Sale register and a fuel console in the ship store.

Requirements

• Experience as a cashier or in a customer service role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to lift objects of 25 pounds or more
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work with a team and independently
• Must be able to swim
