JCW is currently working on behalf of a growing specialty insurer that's looking to hire an AVP/VP Casualty Underwriter. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing casualty insurance accounts, assessing risks, and making underwriting decisions to ensure profitability and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal casualty insurance policies.
- Develop and implement underwriting strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and clients.
- Mentor and guide junior underwriters.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in casualty underwriting with a proven track record. Leadership experience preferred.
