As we continue to grow, we are seeking to fill 2 positions (1) Seeking a skilled and experienced Level 3 Generator Technician to join our team and (2) seeking to fill a position for a in house fleet and diesel mechanic.
Key Responsibilities:
Level 3 Generator Technician Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of generator systems, including diesel, gas, and bi-fuel generators.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure optimal performance of generator sets.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs and upgrades.
- Install and commission new generator systems in accordance with industry standards.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and provide timely, efficient service to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and parts used.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians as needed
Qualifications:
Level 3 Generator Technician
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with generators, with at least 2 years at a Level 3 or equivalent position.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on power generation.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents and schematics.
- Certification in generator technology or related fields is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
