  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with project development, financing, and operations.
  • External Counsel Coordination: Maintain strategic oversight of external legal support while optimizing cost efficiency.
  • Dispute Resolution & Litigation: Manage and oversee legal disputes, working with external counsel as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with executives, investors, and project partners to facilitate smooth transactions and operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of legal experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house roles in renewable energy, infrastructure, or project finance.
  • Expertise in energy project development, finance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills, particularly with PPAs, EPCs, and financing agreements.
  • Experience transitioning legal functions from external counsel to an in-house team is a plus.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
