Survey CAD Technician

Mackie Consultants, a leading consultant in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying located in Rosemont, Illinois, has an immediate opening for a Survey CAD Technician with 2+ years of experience. This position involves technical support for providing complex CAD support with design team in preparing engineering/survey plan sets and creating reports. Microstation experience preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Development of survey plans and construction documents working on complex CAD projects under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor Work efficiently, multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment Perform work in an accurate and timely manner Handle multiple assignments with competing priorities Maintain company CAD standards throughout the projects Key Qualifications: 2+ years of progressive survey work experience or an associate's degree in a CAD related field Working knowledge of topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, subdivisions, easement and vacation plats Microstation experience preferred Exceptional client service skills as well as in a team environment Self-starting, requiring minimal supervision once trained General knowledge of MS Office Good communication skills Mackie Consultants is a part of The Burke Group (TBG), which is a fast-growing family of 9 civil engineering and land surveying companies offering services throughout the Midwest.
