Cloud Engineers/Administrators
to support a critical program for National Geospatial Agency in
Rancho Bernardo, CA.
The team is seeking individuals with the ability to build and maintain the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the cloud environment for a library modernization program.
Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI
Location: Rancho Bernardo, CA (100% on-site)

Responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer:
Develop automated pipelines for AWS cloud environment Provide consulting services to application and infrastructure teams on automated build, test, and release processes. Oversee the operations and operating environment of DevOps platforms. Lead troubleshooting efforts for incidents and outages. Design, write, and deliver Infrastructure as Code software to enhance the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the cloud environment. Develop deployment jobs for various artifacts to maintain a continuously security-updated environment. Engage in design and architecture discussions, building environments using Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible. Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual effort, ensuring consistency and repeatability. Handle incident response and root-cause analysis while fostering a culture of blameless post-mortems. Qualifications of the Cloud Engineer:
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology and 4+ years of direct experience IAT II certification (Sec+, CYSA+, etc.) Extensive knowledge of multiple specialties including operating systems, storage technologies, and peripherals. Proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems Skilled in Shell, Perl, and/or PowerCLI/PowerShell scripting. Experience with configuration management tools and automation (Ansible, Terraform) Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure Compensation of the Cloud Engineer:
