**Communications Specialist – Fresno*** Full Time* Fresno, CA* Posted 1 week agoThe position is an exempt, professional position that requires the person holding the position to have specialized knowledge and expertise in development and implementation of comprehensive, strategic communications, in furtherance of the organization’s and/or social justice law and policy mission and goals at the local and regional level. The Communications Specialist position is also required to develop work that is original and creative in nature, including engaging in writing, design, marketing and branding of the organization’s various legal and policy campaign messaging strategies at the local and regional level. This position regularly requires the use of professional, independent judgment to exercise discretion in matters related to the duties set forth below, including leading communications campaign efforts. It is also predominately and highly intellectual, and varied in character, including, but not necessarily limited to, the planning, writing, crafting, and sharing of content to achieve campaign goals and raise awareness about and enhance the organization’s work, reputation, and impact at the local and regional level.
