Onsite IT Support Specialist
Start Date - ASAP - Monday-Friday - AM Shift - 40 hours
3 month assisgnment with possible extension
As directed by the Department, work with and maintain all types of computer hardware, telecommunications and Network equipment as well as all Department software, including MS Office365 applications.
Provide helpdesk support as needed.
Provide comprehensive computer and software training to Department staff.
Provide direct on-site IT support to staff. Direct on-site IT support includes installing, repairing and maintaining all IT hardware, software, peripherals and telecommunications equipment.
Provide remote assistance to Department staff. Remote assistance includes troubleshooting, updating and resolving all local network system issues.
Provide daily entry for inventory items and receiving new equipment as well as maintain data integrity for each of these systems.
Assist the Network Administrator in maintaining and servicing Wide Area Network, Local Area Network, and all associated network components.
Perform other duties and tasks as required.
