JOB SUMMARY
Abbott-Action Inc., a leading POP display and manufacturing company located in Attleboro, MA, is seeking an information technology assistant to work alongside the IT Director in providing technical support for all company hardware, software, and operating systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues like operating systems, applications, printers, and peripherals.
Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network connectivity issues.
Creating, managing, and resetting user accounts and access levels.
Installing software updates and security patches on systems.
Maintaining accurate documentation of IT systems, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
Assisting with data backup processes and disaster recovery procedures.
Coordinating with hardware and software vendors for repairs and upgrades.
Providing basic technical training to users on new systems or applications.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College education or heavy college coursework in the field of computers, information technology, computer software and hardware, and operating systems.
Good communicator amongst employees.
Candidates are
PREFERRED
who offer the following:
3-5 years work experience in information technology or computer science
Knowledge of Windows Server/Workstation, Active Directory, MAC OS, Virtualization & Networking.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
